Corinne Ponzio
is the new Owner and Director of Avenue to Broadway. She has studied extensively in many disciplines of dance: ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and choreography. As a young dancer, at the age of three, Corinne attended many dance studios and summer intensives at Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Corinne continued her academic and dance studies at the prestigious Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC) in Howell High School, an advanced performing arts program with the focus on the artisitc field of dance. Corinne was the captain of her dance team. Throughout her dance career, Corinne participated in various competitions, conventions, and performances, and earned recognition and numerous awards.
Corinne has been married to her husband John for three years and they have three amazing children, Gianna, Damian, and Rocco.
Corinne is excited to have the opportunity to live her dream of passing on the training and experiences the students at Avenue to Broadway deserve!
Courtney Pett
has been dancing since the age of three. She has been trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical and Pointe along with private training by Ms. Nancy Turano of Alvin Ailey School of Dance. Courtney has competed since the age of ten and continues to expand her love for dance by attending various conventions and intensives. Courtney looks forward to working at Avenue to Broadway and sharing her love of dance with her students.
Gabrielle
has been a Hip Hop dance instructor for a decade. She spent years teaching at a local dance studio, and is currently teaching at various New Jersey locations. Classes focus on various elements; often including video style choreography, fundamental b-girling/boying, and house dance. In addition to dance, Gabrielle is a Certified Personal Trainer, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Certified Group Exercise and Zumba Instructor. Her extensive background in fitness helps create a strong foundation for students.
Patricia Silver
is an award wining Irish Dancer and Choreographer and she started her dancing career over ten years ago. Miss Pat is a founding member of the North American Irish Dance Federation (NAIDF), where she also serves as the Co-Chair of NAIDF. Miss Pat was also awarded Certified Ceili Teacher (CCT) and Certified Performance Teacher (CPT), through NAIDF. She is continuing to persue her Master Irish Dance Teacher 1 certification (MIDT 1). Miss Pat also has her Irish Dance Certification through Delaware Community College.
